IRVA 2025 Conference – Exploring the Unknown Together

September 29 - October 5

Join us for what will surely be one of the most intimate, inspiring, and unforgettable gatherings of the year—where science meets spirit and community thrives with the International Remote Viewing Association.

This rare immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to connect deeply with fellow explorers, expand your understanding of consciousness, and engage with some of the most respected voices in the field of remote viewing. Whether you’re drawn by curiosity, camaraderie, or the cutting edge of human potential, this is the event where insight, discovery, and meaningful connection come together.

Venue Change: The main conference program will take place at the historic Lodge at Cloudcroft, New Mexico. Nestled high in the Lincoln National Forest at nearly 9,000 feet elevation, the Lodge at Cloudcroft is a charming, century-old mountain resort known for its rich history, forest views, Victorian architecture, and a touch of mystery. With cozy rooms, scenic dining, and a famously haunted reputation, it provides the perfect setting for an immersive experience in remote viewing, community, and consciousness exploration.

In addition to our time at the Lodge, we’ll also venture out for a night under the stars at remote viewer Lyn Buchanan’s RV ranch, and a special field trip to White Sands Missile Museum, followed by a visit to the stunning White Sands National Park. (Attendees driving to the park will be responsible for their own entry fees.)

International Remote ViewingAssociation Receives $60,000 Bial Foundation Grant for Pioneering Study onConsciousness, Remote Viewing, and AI

The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) is proud to announce it has been awarded a $60,000 research grant from the internationally recognized Bial Foundation. The grant will fund agroundbreaking scientific study exploring how remote viewing and dream-basedESP interact with artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, and thebroader nature of consciousness.

Remote viewing is a structured mental process through which individualsattempt to perceive information about distant or unseen targets—such aslocations, objects, or events—without using their ordinary senses. Originallydeveloped through government-funded programs in the 1970s, remote viewing hasevolved into a widely practiced intuitive skill, used today for research, exploration, and practical applications.

The newly funded project, Non-local Perception and AI: A Study on theIntersection of Technology and Consciousness, will be led by members ofIRVA’s board of directors and Research Unit, with consulting support from theMonroe Institute and Università di Padova. Researchers include Debra LynneKatz, PhD; Dale Graff; Cindy Miller, PhD; Jenifer Prather, PhD(c); andconsultants Nancy Walter, PhD(c) (Monroe Institute) and Patrizio E. Tressoldi,PhD (Science of Consciousness Research Group, Università di Padova).

The study will address essential questions about perception, feedback, and the role of new technologies in psi functioning, and will include fiveprimary experiments:

AI vs. Real Targets: Comparing viewer accuracy with AI-generated images versus real-world photographic targets.

Perception of Written Language: Investigating whether viewers and dreamers can accurately perceive written text embedded within targets.

Virtual Reality Targets: Testing whether immersive VR environments enhance participant performance.

AI Monitoring vs. Human Assistance: Exploring the effectiveness of AI-guided monitoring compared to human or solo session conditions.

Timing and Precognition: Determining whether the timing of target selection—before or after the session—impacts performance

Feedback Conditions – Does Feedback make a difference when it comes to remote viewing? Is there a retro-causal effect?

About IRVA The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) is a nonprofitorganization dedicated to the responsible advancement of the art and science ofremote viewing. Through education, research, and community engagement, IRVAbrings together scientists, practitioners, and the public to explore thefrontiers of perception and consciousness.

Call for Participants: Research Laband Conference Invitation

IRVA is now seeking intermediate to advanced remote viewers toparticipate in a 3-day research lab, taking place September 29 to October 1,2025, in Cloudcroft, New Mexico. This event will be held just prior to the 2025IRVA Conference, scheduled at the same location from October 2–5.

Participants will:
Experience unique new target types, including AI-generated imagery and VR environments

Be supported by both human and AI-based session monitors

Help contribute to cutting-edge research in non-local perception

Sharpen their skills within a collaborative, experimental environment

Applications are open now via the IRVA Conference website at https://www.irvaconference.org or directly through the applicationform here.

There will be opportunities to join in on the research projects as a viewer by participating at a distance online during 2025-2026 so please fill out the application and indicate whether you’d like to participate in person or online.
