“Whatever imponderable talent it takes to stay at the top of one’s game for almost six decades, as Person has, he still has it in abundance.” – All About Jazz
Nine-time Grammy®-nominated vocalist Tierney Sutton shares the stage first with multi-Grammy®-winning virtuoso trumpeter Randy Brecker (Wed-Fri) then tenor saxophonist and living legend Houston Person (Sat-Sun) for an incredible musical dialogue, also featuring special guest drummer Lewis Nash, pianist Tamir Hendelman, and bassist Ricky Rodriguez.

As for Brecker, JazzTimes writes, “It’s hard to think of another accomplished jazz musician who has excelled in so many different styles of popular music,” and also that “Houston Person does little things with each tune that reveal thought and planning, but the routines are fitting, not cute… And he is just as honest in his playing, which is free from phony effects and is never meretricious.”
