Cave Creek Museum Kiwanis Family Fun Days to feature “Archaeology Expo” on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10 AM-2 PM.
“How did the early inhabitants of the foothills live in the desert without electricity and internet?” asks Evelyn Johnson, the museum’s executive director. “Was life all work and no play time? Join us and participate in a desert dig and more! Maybe we’ll find some bones, pottery or shark teeth during this fun expo.”

The 53-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits.
