Wine lovers rejoice! LDV Winery’s popular annual Wine Country BBQ is back again this year for a fun wine-centric festival held on the stunning grounds of the LDV Winery Estate nestled among the Chiricahua Mountain foothills of Southeastern Arizona. The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 and festivities begin at 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will enjoy an in-depth winemaker-led educational tour of the vineyard and winery bursting with grapes, a wine country lunch (paired with wine, of course) and a relaxing day set amid the backdrop of the winery. Held just prior to the peak of the harvest, nature enthusiasts and shutterbugs are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture the picturesque beauty of the property.
Even runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the tour begins at 2 p.m. Local lodging is limited, so it is advised to make reservations early. Contact Peggy Fiandaca at LDV Winery for lodging recommendations nearby. Guests are also invited to bring a tent, RV or motorhome to camp “among the vines” on the property.
Cost is $40 per person; wine club member price is $30 and includes lunch, a complimentary glass of wine, tour and vineyard photo opportunities.
