LITTLE RIVER BAND RETURNS TO THE DIAMOND CENTER

Little River Band is set to return to Desert Diamond Casino’s Diamond Center on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. Tickets start at $35 and go on sale Friday, March 29 at 10 a.m. through Etix and at Desert Diamond Casino’s Box Office. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m. Anyone exhibiting COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or with recent exposure to a person with COVID-19, is asked to stay home.
Little River Band garnered huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart-topping hits in the 70s and 80s. Their worldwide album, CD, and digital downloads amass to more than 350 million. Little River Band continues to deliver distinctive harmonies and vocal abilities under the direction of lead vocalist and bass player Wayne Nelson. To date, Nelson has contributed his talents on 24 of Little River Band’s albums. Little River Band has undergone an evolution or two since its origins as an Australian rock band hungry to make it in America.
Little River Band was the first band to have Top 10 hits for six consecutive years. Their song “Reminiscing” has garnered more than five million air plays on American radio, with “Lady” following close behind with more than four million air plays. In September 2015, the band was awarded Casino Entertainer of the Year at the G2E Gaming Expo in Las Vegas.
