After a cooler and rainier winter than we’ve had in a while, we’re finally starting to get back to what feels like Arizona weather, with a return to warmth and sunshine later this week! However, the “bright” side to all of this rain is that it will soon transform the Sonoran Desert into a brilliant, multicolored carpet of flowers throughout the months of March and April.
Marana is home to many places to hike your way into this explosion of color. In mid-March, we celebrate Marana’s 46th birthday with the Founders’ Day Parade and Festivities, and on the same weekend, we welcome LIV Golf to the Gallery Golf Club for their weekend-long stop on their international tour of world-class golf courses.
You can also experience some of Southern Arizona’s favorite local bands at one of several music festivals going on in Marana in the coming month! Our part of the Sonoran Desert is teeming with life — and liveliness!
