Just like that, September is upon us, hopefully bringing somewhat of a break in the weather! With that, it means that fall is right around the corner, and with it, all of the events, festivals, and celebrations that go right along with Marana’s agricultural heritage.
The long Labor Day weekend kicks off the month with lots of events! Catch a free movie, take a historic tour of Old Tucson, go for a stroll and see a recovering ecosystem up close, and celebrate the anniversary of a beloved local food truck with beer and brats! Speaking of beer and brats, this month kicks off Oktoberfest season, with celebrations at several of Marana’s restaurants and breweries! Or, experience Southern Arizona’s creativity in many other ways, such as a meal at a great local restaurant, or an independent film made by local talent!
September also sees the return of guided hikes and horseback rides, including a moonlight hike in the Tortolitas at the end of the month. September is sure to be a month to remember, full of fun Marana adventures!
