Roche Tissue Diagnostics (RTD), in partnership with the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA), is holding its annual virtual and in-person photography exhibition: IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT. The gallery exhibition highlights over 12500 selected photographic works inspired by life and night experiences during those twilight hours, with an accompanying virtual show featuring nearly 600 images.
Each year, Roche asks colleagues from across its U.S. sites in Arizona, California, New Jersey, Indiana, and Massachusetts, to share the life moments they’ve been documenting throughout the year through photography. Participants who submitted work for both the virtual and in-person show were asked to share nighttime photographs; the images submitted encompass everything from illuminated cityscapes to breathtaking night skies, chance wildlife sightings as well as some joyous family moments that highlight how things that happen at night change their perspective.
The virtual and in-person gallery exhibition theme features original photography captured and inspired by life and spaces as experienced at night. You’ll experience images of colorful urban lights, spectacular night skies, beautiful family moments, and more.
The community is invited to a free admission opening reception of IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT on May 22nd, from 5 PM – 7 PM at Roche Tissue Diagnostics’ Ventana Gallery. The opening night reception will also include complimentary wine, light snacks, and a lively music performance from Tucson rock and reggae band, Baja Caravan.
