Retro Game Show Night moves to 191 Toole this March

March 14 @ 6:00 pm - 11:30 pm MST

TUCSON, AZ After 15 years of turning game show nostalgia into a full-contact comedy sport, Retro Game Show Night – Tucson’s longest-running live comedy show – is packing up its glitter, cue cards, and questionable judgment and moving into a brand new home: 191 Toole.

The move is the latest stop in a Tucson-born origin story that began in December 2011 at Colors, the now-closed, gay-owned restaurant and bar where Retro Game Show Night first learned an important lesson: if you invite Tucson to a comedy game show, Tucson shows up ready to win and emotionally spiral.

When Colors closed, Retro Game Show Night relocated to Hotel Congress in October 2012. It spent more than 13 years at the beloved historic hotel’s nightclub building a cult following, perfecting the art of audience participation, and proving – month after month – that live comedy is best enjoyed with a little chaos and a lot of cheering.

Now, the show is making its biggest leap yet, debuting at 191 Toole in March 2026 – just one block west of Hotel Congress, right after 6th Avenue on Toole Avenue in downtown Tucson. And yes, the rumors are true: there is TONS of free parking right next to the building. (We know. We’re still processing it.)

Inaugural show at 191 Toole
Retro Game Show Night christens its new space with The Wheel of Misfortune on Saturday, March 14, 2026 – a lovingly unhinged parody of The Wheel of Fortune where luck is fickle, dignity is optional, and the wheel has never once been to therapy.

The evening will be hosted by the incomparable Chatty Kathee, with Swish Manley serving as her “executive assistant” (a title earned through confidence, not qualifications). To properly celebrate the new home, the show features an all-star lineup: Fulta Burstyn, Bernaise, Nelmar 27 McGee, and Parker.
