Saint Philip’s Rising Star concert series “Marimba & More”

At 7:00pm on Monday, November 6, the Saint Philip’s Rising Star concert series will begin its 2023-2024 season.
This Music Outreach Initiative provides performance opportunities for young musical stars in the Tucson area. The events feature an hour of special chamber music, followed by a reception with sweet treats.
Music lovers will appreciate “Marimba & More” but it is a special treat for young people to watch a peer perform as a featured artist. Share this email with a young person you would like to inspire!
The concert will begin at 7:00pm followed by dessert at 8:00pm. Seating is limited so reserve your place by calling Kay Couch at 520-299-2062.The suggested $20.00 donation supports the musician and the reception but—as this is an outreach program—no one will be turned away. All are invited to enjoy an evening with young musicians who play beautiful music, and celebrate with them afterward.The concert will be in the sanctuary and the reception will be in the Murphey Gallery.
