Multi-Platinum Hip-Hop Artist Snoop Dogg To Sing, Spin Hits from Old School To Present Saturday, July 17th
PHOENIX, AZ – Danny Zelisko Presents welcomes entertainment icon Snoop Dogg vs DJ Snoopadelic to the historic Celebrity Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 17th.
“Snoop Dogg in the building, yes, y’all!” Snoopadelic will be spinning hits from old school to present day mixing Snoop classics with hot tracks from his new album From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites, including “C.E.O.” Concert goers can also expect to hear everything from DMX to Rihanna to Bieber to James Brown to Rick James to Journey.
Having sold over 30 million albums worldwide, Snoop has received multiple Grammy nominations, helping to define the genre of hip-hop as we know it while releasing stand out hit singles such as “Gin & Juice,” “Who Am I?,” “Nuthin But a ‘G’ Thang,” “Sensual Seduction” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Releasing twelve albums since 1993, Snoop broke chart records with the seminal hip-hop record Doggystyle (produced by Dr. Dre), which debuted at No 1 on the Billboard 100, selling almost a million copies in the first week of its release. His second album, Tha Doggfather (1996), also deputed at number one.
Closing in on 50, Snoop has remained at the forefront of popular culture for decades, thanks to the release of award-winning albums, anthemic singles, digital ventures, lifestyle products, stellar performances in film and as host of several television shows.
