Virtual Art Exhibition Celebrates Artists’ Interpretations of Arizona Landscapes
CAPTRUST and the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance partner to present an interactive virtual gallery exhibition featuring local female artists, inspired works inspired by outdoor spaces in Arizona
Modern work environments can be places of inspiration. Culturally rich and beautiful art, created by talented local artists, is integral to the expression of who we are and sparks innovation. Art is critical for the economic vitality of our community.
The past year has been an unprecedented year of challenge for all members of our community. CAPTRUST has remained committed to supporting opportunities for artists and the arts to inspire our community throughout a time of much-needed inspiration. The firm is one of the largest independent investment and retirement plan advisory firms in the country. The CAPTRUST team specializes in providing consultative advisory services to retirement plan sponsors, endowments, foundations, institutional investors, executives, and high net-worth individuals.
The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance and CAPTRUST Community Gallery are pleased to present “Arizona Landscapes,” a diverse virtual art exhibition featuring the works of four prominent Arizona female artists. The exhibition will launch to the public on June 21, 2021, online at https://www.saaca.org/captrustcommunitygallery.html.
The Summer 2021 exhibition is inspired by the place we call home, Arizona. This theme brings out diverse artistic interpretations of our community and is broad enough to produce a wide range of works in multiple mediums and inspiration points from our breathtaking outdoor spaces here in Arizona.
The featured artists include Barbara Garber, Casey Cheuvront, Ira Beckway, and Nancy Breiman. The artists represent diverse approaches to their works, including figurative, abstract, and black and white photography.
“Our commitment to the arts is a deeply rooted value within the organization,” says Christina Burroughs, principal and financial advisor at CAPTRUST. “The arts connect us, inspire new thinking, and help shape a diverse community.”
In 2017, the company committed to the arts with the establishment of a community gallery housed within their Phoenix office. Through a progressive partnership with the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance, arts have been part of the daily work experience at CAPTRUST. This dynamic initiative enables the arts to be accessible to everyone while strengthening culture.
