Kiwanis Club of Carefree gives grant for Family Learning programs to Cave Creek Museum

Cave Creek, Arizona – Kiwanis Club of Carefree awarded the Cave Creek Museum a grant for its Family Learning programs.

“The Cave Creek Museum board, staff and volunteers are grateful to Kiwanis Club of Carefree for awarding the second phase of its expanded Family Learning Program,” says JoAnn Stuckey, executive director for Cave Creek Museum. “These programs provide age-appropriate fun learning that is shared in meaningful ways and enjoyed by learners of all ages. Children, parents and grandparents learn together in ways that no other kid-centric non-profit within a 40 minutes-drive can replicate. They lay the foundation for lifelong learning and future museum goers, donors and supporters in Cave Creek and the greater Phoenix metro area.”

The 55-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits. The Cave Creek Museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Ariz. Open October through May. The museum can be reached at 480.488.2764 or cavecreekmuseum.org. Where History Comes Alive.
