The Annual Arizona Art Alliance Interpretations VII Exhibition is open to all members in good standing of any affiliated Arizona Art Alliance Member Arts Organization as listed on the AzAA website. The theme “Interpretations” is open to inspire all artists to interpret what they see, feel, and hear, and apply it to their artwork. All artwork will be juried. Jurors to be announced.

Arizona Artist Opportunity Grants
The Arizona Commission on the Arts is now accepting applications for Artist Opportunity Grants. Artists may request between $500 and $1,500 in funding support as they take advantage of specific, unique opportunities that have the potential to significantly impact their professional growth.
The next cycle due date is February 17, 2022. Funded activities must take place between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022.
For more than 150 years, Vulture City has provided inspirational subject matter for countless artists and photographers. Now Vulture City Preservation, in partnership with the prestigious Wickenburg Art Club presents a virtual art and photography contest followed by a public exhibition and judging of all entered artwork and photography.

Arizona Art Alliance welcomes our newest member, Vulture City.
The Vulture mine began in 1863 when Henry Wickenburg discovered a quartz outcropping containing gold. Shortly after the mine was established the small mining town, Vulture City developed. Agriculture was brought back to the valley, and a grain route was established, which we know as Grand Avenue!. Phoenix, Arizona, grew up around the agricultural center spawned by the needs of the Vulture Mine.
