Summer films start rolling

This summer's films resurrect several superhero characters and extends the shelf life of a few popular films.

Super heros and favorites return

The start of the summer kicks off May 3rd with the release of Iron Man 3, starring Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow andBen Kingsley. The armor-clad superhero returns to face off against the Mandarin, the mystical villain played by Kingsley.

Man of Steel (June 14) brings back Superman with Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon. Two surviving Kryptonians face off against Superman.

300: Rise of An Empire (Aug 2) brings back the Spartan soldiers who died at the end of 300 with sequel around Persian King Xerxes fight against a Greek army.

The release of R.I.P.D. (July 19) brings a pair of undead cops togethers to police the afterlife. Stars Ray Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon.

StarTrek Into Darkness (May 15) brings Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Benedict Cumberbacth together to breath life back into the 2009 Star Trek blockbuster directed by J.J. Abrams.

The 3rd return of The Hang Over Part III (May 15) reunites Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor in Las Vegas for another adventure.

A second attempt with Grown Ups 2 has the characters from the first movie move back to their childhood hometown.
